Every form field between you and a conversation is a reason to close the tab. So we removed all of them: no email, no password, no profile to fill in before your first match. You arrive as a guest and you can stay one for as long as you like.
Anonymity cuts both ways, which is why it pairs with real moderation — more on that in the community guidelines.
No public chat rooms where everyone performs for a crowd. No follower counts, no gift leaderboards, no feed engineered to keep you scrolling past midnight. Chatib is a string of real one-to-one conversations, nothing more.
We also skipped the subscription playbook. Chatib is free to start, and coins — when you choose to buy them — are one-time bundles that never renew on their own.
Your first matches and some call time are on the house. If a good talk deserves more time than the free stretch allows, coins extend it — bought in clearly priced packs, always with the rate visible before anything is spent. The terms of service spell out the whole arrangement.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other similarly named site — including older text chat rooms that share part of the name.
Why is Chatib built around video instead of text rooms? Because a face beats a paragraph. Tone, timing and expression carry most of what makes a conversation real, and live video keeps all of it. Typed messages are still there when you want to warm up first — they are just not the whole product.
